Shoot Em Up @ Blockbuster for 9.99! - Blu-ray Forum

Heard about this title now being 9.99 as well at Blockbuster... Only I cannot confirm it myself. And won't cuz I didn't like the film.. Sorry. I hope it is true though, just seeing more $10 blu-rays makes me happy.

Can a Blockbuster employee on zis forum scan all Alliance Atlantis titles to find out what all has been marked down? That'd be awesome!

If it is, that's about the most it is worth, this movie was so stupid. Couldn't finish watching it.

what does liking the film have to do with checking to see if its worth starting a thread or not?

The movie was awesome - you just have to have the right expectation of what kind of movie it is.

This is a good price and interesting that this is the one that was a similar price at Walmart 2 weeks ago.

To me the movie is not worth $9.99, it was just plain stupid.
I'm suprised they even released this onto blu.

Movies are made to entertain, and that is exactly what this movie does. So in my books it is a great movie. The soundtrack for the movie is quite spectacular as well.

after price matching a walmart flyer and paying $8.50, I still feel like I overpaid.. and I went in expecting something like what I got.. entertainingly stupid is the closest description I think that's been put out there.. Giamatti was the only thing decent about the movie, as well as belluci's fine figure

Yeah I agree, movies are made to entertain. There alot of over the top action movies that I enjoy and were entertained by, this one just didn't catch my interest or entertain me at all.

As for the online price, for some reason BBV doesn't update their prices there. They must be confirmed in person.

okay.. official blockbuster employee response here: the price as of dec5th for shoot em up is NOT $9.99 instead its $14.99. checked my store we got 2 copies left for that price. i'd like to add two notes: 1) i am disgraced once again that someone else has beat me to this in posting the sale price for the blu-ray title 2) i agree with the previous 2/3 comments that say that title isnt even worth the buy at $9.99. i actually could have got it for $7.50 from wal-mart when they had it and no country on sale and i didnt pick it up. thanks.

dont be silly, i myself did not know about the deal and i work their. figured itd be 19 or 29.99 itself reg price. i was pleasently surprised to find it for 14.99 even if not 9.99. shows prices are coming down and your just being helpful. thankyou, no appology required.

i saw this yesterday and went out to go grab it but i couldnt find it anywhere at 2 of my local blockbusters, kinda disappointed since i couldnt find it for 8.97 at wal mart and now i cant get it for 15 bucks either! anyone in the GTA/Scarborough see it?

snyder man, i work at the blockbuster in pickering located at whites road and hwy2. my store has 2 copies in stocklast i checked. plz stop by if your still looking. i will even set one aside for you tonight when i go into work at 5pm in case we sellout so you have one reserved. the # for the store is 905-831-4494 . hope this helps
