Default Front speaker help please

OK fellows I would like a little help please, I have a Yamaha 663 and I'm looking to get front floor speakers. My range is 200 a speaker I already have the Polk Audio CSi3 Center Speaker and I'm getting Polk Audio PSW505 as my sub my rears are a basic Yamaha rear speakers.

If your center speaker is Polk, you should get Polk front speakers for proper timbre matching. The monitor series are within your range. http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/p...floorstanding/. Check Amazon for better prices.

Actually I think with the CSi you want to match it with the RTi series instead of the Monitors. I think it'd sound ok but it's designed to go with RTi unless I'm mistaken.

Yeah if you already have everything polk why not just go with polk for the fronts too?

Agreed! The CS line goes with the monitors, the CSi line goes with the RTi speakers.

Ok I narrowed down my decision to these speakers, please advise which set would be better

Polk Audio RTi8 High Output Floorstanding Loudspeaker

Polk Audio Monitor 70 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker

Take the RTi's, they are much better

Just my personal preference really, but I would take the RTi's 100 times out of 100 over the monitor 70's.

Yeah. I think once you start getting to the price range of the Monitor 70s your best bet is to jump up to the RTi series.

Agreed. If you're looking to save some cash, the 50's or 60's end up being the better buy at their price range.
