Inspired by Indiewire's early Oscar predictions, I decided I might predict some categories of my own. Since Oscar season is around the corner, I figured why not? So here are some of my extremely early Academy-Award predictions for 2015, and feel free to post your own. Ordered from most likely to win to least likely to win.

Ethan Hawke needs to win. I called it from forty minutes into Boyhood. He was my favorite part (an amazing part in a great movie).

Only thing I would do is replace Into the Woods with Big Eyes for Best Picture. Add Best Supporting Actor for Christoph Waltz.

I hope Gone Girl gets some love as Girl With The Dragon Tattoo gone none. And hopefully Big Eyes will as well.
