This isn't a pic. Lol. It's a direct screen shot from the disc itself. Nothing in between!

Full 1080p resolution. Download it to your PS3 and look at it there. Should be a better image since it's not your computer screen.

I noticed a bigger difference when I did the comparison myself. I compared Dead Man Chest as well. I took my PS3 to my friends house to watch a movie and it was their first time watching a Blu-Ray movie. So, I wanted to do a comparison before we started. We went through my PS3 library and his DVD library and that was they only common movie.

We played both movies at the same time and just kept switching back and forth between the two. I then paused both movies and the same part and showed the the differences again. I was actually amazed at the huge difference we saw. And my friend TV only does 1080I.

It was awesome! I just found out today that my friend ended up buying a PS3 for their kids for Christmas and they're going to use it as a Blu-Ray player as well.

Even sweeter! We are going to get another PS3 as well. Can never have enough BD players.

So true. I'm hoping that within a year and a half I will have a HDTV and a Blu-Ray player in every room of my house. That is 3 bedrooms and the living room. So, I need to buy 3 more players and 2 more HDTV's.

Wow. That's a lot of goodness in one house

Right now we have 4 HDTV's - 1 PS3 - 1 HD-DVD (xbox 360 addon) - can't help the dud player. My brother thinks HD-DVD is "winning". Blah blah blah.

Who knows. I sleep all odd hours and my vacation started 3 days ago. So, I have until next year (2nd part of January 08) to enjoy myself
