Default Maybe someone can help

I don't know if it me or if I have something set up wrong. Every now and then when I watch a blu-ray movie on my tv, the picture looks like shadows. Is it the way i am loking at the TV or do I have somethig set up wrong. I have a PS3 and 26 inch samsung with an HDMI cable.

And did it just start looking this way with blu-rays or is the TV new, as well?

Hmm...you might have RGB set to Full on your settings, perhaps? Switch it to Y Pb Pr or whatever it is instead of RGB. And then set RGB on Limited.

If that's not it, then...

Sorry. What I mean, is when the scene is at night or dark, the people in the scenes look like shillouttes or shadows, but when daylight in the movie comes or a brighter scene, everything is fine.
