The new Golden Axe is coming out soon... Does anyone know if it will have online play and if so, what would it be like.

I think it's single player only.

I think it was stoopid of Sega to leave multiplayer out of the game. I mean, it was what the old Mega Drive/Genesis games were all about. Shame on Sega for doing this.

Yeah I was talking to my Sega rep and I can't remember the excuse they used but I told them it was really strange to make it a single player experience when it used to be all about multiplayer. I passed on this bringing this title to my stores because it really looks like a rush job and an obvious cash in on the franchise name. There is way too many quality titles for them to throw this out there in Oct.

I think they basically said they're putting out to test the waters with it, and if it does great and they do a next one they'll put in multiplayer.

No multiplayer? Ugh, I was going to pick it up as something for me and my son. I remember spending a LOOOT of time when I Was young playing it with my friends.

Any reviews on this game? It's coming out next week, and I'm not sure I want to pick this up or not.

I was waiting too. The videos on the PSN actually looked pretty decent, but who knows. A review would be nice.

Amazon has it for 19.99, just wondering if it's worth it. 20 bucks aint much but am worried about the mechanics and camera control.
