Arrow Anyone hear of this brand name of speakers?

I just purchased my energy CC-10 centre channel today and it is amazing. The next step is to purchase some tower speakers. Now I know the rule of thumb is to have your speakers matching, but this deal seems almost too good to pass up.There called Precision Acoustic I thinks it's Best Buy Canada "no name" brand of speakers.

Here's the link any reviews or opinions on them would be appreciated.

I had a pair of PA bookshelfs attached to a Sony 2-Channel amp that I hooked up to my computer for tranferring some vinyl. They did the job, but that's about it.

At $119.99 ea ($240/pair), you can do much better. Wait for Boxing Day sales at FS or BB and you'll get a pair of Klipsch or Polk or Infinity at less than half price. I can't remember the model #, but last year BB had a pair of Klipsch Towers ($800/pair) for $349/pair during their Boxing Week sale.

Can you wait a few more weeks?

They look like Insignia, which is Best Buy's generic speakers here. Personally, I'd stay far, far away from them.

You have a center from a fantastic company- why not save up and get some Energy fronts when you have the cash? It'd be a much better purchase. Timbre-matching is important and you'll be happier in the end.

Have you ever listened to PA speakers? They aren't exactly what I'd call a quality product. Very "tinny" sounding, with little to no low end extension. Save your money, and wait for the Boxing Day sales on some good Energy speakers to match your center. You already think that the center is amazing, so imagine what a timbre-matched front 3 would sound like.

I had a center from the same company. Bought it at bestbuy. It was on sale for 99 bucks.
Did it work, yes would i recommened it, sure.
If your on a buget (and i mean a tight,tight buget)why not

But remember this isn't some highend speakers.personally i would never buy them again.if your just starting out why not. Now if your not on a tight buget and you can move a little bit more money into your speakers i would say stay away.

Paradigm,Energy,PSB all make great bookself speakers that would kick those speakers your looking at right to the side.

I would suggest Energy just because you have the center and you can timber match it to your fronts

Do you live in Canada?

^^Yeah I live in Ontario,so judging by the people's opinions here I'm just going to save up some more cash for boxing day and pick up the energy C-500's.Futureshop actually has the C-300's on sale right now for $99 each, which is a steal but I'm going to wait it out to see if the C-500's drop for boxing day.
