I'm gone get a PS3 soon and was wondering how I should set it up to get the best picture quality for movies and games. I'm especially curious about the PS3 settings since there are so many.

The PS3 should be set at 1080P/24 auto or force mode and the Panasonic should be set at 48HZ or 60HZ. If the flicker issue at 48HZ is a issue for you on the Panasonic then you can set the Panasonic to 60HZ. If the Panasonic is set at 60HZ it will not matter that much if the PS3 is set for 1080P/60 or 1080P/24.
