Default blu's more prevalent on eBay

Nothing official, just a personal observation. I got my first hdtv and ps3 back in late September, and started searching ebay for good blu-ray deals. I remember the first time searching "blu ray" on ebay, it came up with around 14,500 results. I've been checking just about every day, and that number just keeps climbing. Today if you type that in you'll get about 20,500 results. That's a big jump for just a few months. I know its partly because of the holiday season, but also cuz the format is getting so big! Looks great for blu.

same here in the UK, only thing is people actually pay more on ebay than they would at places like amazon or play.com..annoying really, missing out on loads of good deals due to morons who pay loads just to win

That's good to hear as I really haven't been paying attention to the blue ray selection on ebay. Hopefully the market will continue to grow at this rate and drop the prices down across the board.

Yeah I hear ya, that gets really annoying. I'll keep bidding to what I think is a fair price for an item, but I've seen some people bid all the way up to $34 for a 2 disc Wall-E! Thats insane, I got mine sealed from a member on here for $20 shipped. But sometimes there are great deals to be had from eBay. I bought the new Rambo sealed for $14 shipped and Reign Over Me for 9 $shipped, gotta love it.

I browse eBay pretty often for blu-rays, but I think it's just so littered with random HDMI cables and other junk... it makes me hate looking for blu-rays on there, but I find a decent deal every now and again.

if you search "blu ray", then on the left hand side of the screen, under "format", click on the Blu-ray category. then it's just the movies themselves, no players or hdmi cables
