United Kingdom Play.com Steelbook Shipping...Advice needed

I want to order some Blu-ray Steelbooks from Play.com

What I'd like to know is, do they still send 1 item out per box...or do they send multiple orders out in 1 big box????

Thanks.

Erm, well haven't ordered anything like that for a while, but when the Pulp Fiction steels came in last year, they delivered them to me individually in those cardboard wrapped packages, rather than together in a big box.

One steel per special steelbook box.

When I had 8 steels arrive, they were in the white boxes and then inside of a big brown box with bubble wrap around it.

So your saying you had 1 steelbook per special white box...all together in a big brown box?

Every steelbook will go in its own dedicated steelbook box. If you order. Certain amount and they process them st the same time, inside of putting individual labels n them, they'll just stick them in a bigger box and throw in bubble wrap and then stick a label on it.

I've had 4 arrive as singles, and I've also had 8 arrive in one big box.

I recently recieved two steels in one box, but it was like their normal single padded boxes but bigger. Perfect

One item per box, shipped separately. If you order more than a handful, separate boxes for each Steelbook then inside a plastic bag or a big box. It doesn't really matter though. Play.com's new Steelbook packaging is awesome and your items should arrive safely either way.

Agree about the new packaging being excellent; my only concern was that the extra padding would increase the size so it wouldn't fit through the letterbox and I'd end up having to traipse up to the Post Office (the local collections place has unhelpful opening hours 7am to 1pm only) but the Predator steel that arrived yesterday in the new white box was fine

RazorwireRyan, what was the layout like in the '2-steel-box'? Would it fit through a regular letterbox? I recently had Amazon deliver 2 items in their new '2-in-1' packaging and ended up having to go to the above mentioned Post Office as it wouldn't fit through.

My An American Werewolf In London steel arrived last week when I wasn't in and had a card left from the postman as the single Blu-ray wouldn't fit through the letterbox.
Going to collect it is a small price to pay for the super packaging these steels arrive in,you would have to jump on the box to make any damage.

In principle I agree but if I had a Saturday morning when I was unable to collect it and it arrived the previous Monday it would probably be so long before I could get to the collection office they'd probably have sent the (perfect condition) BD back to Play!
