Subwoofer for Christmas. Help! - Blu-ray Forum

I recently started a thread about a velodyne DPS-10 I was going to buy (recieve) for christmas. However, the deal fell through and now I need some help. My Budget is around $250 - 300 with the subwoofer shipped. I want the absolute best bang for the buck, and I would like it if the performance was as good or better than that of the DPS-10. Any ideas will be appreciated, but I need them fast Christmas is almost here.

Downside is an order now is very unlikely to get there for Christmas

Just check out those specs and the forum thread! It looks to be worth the wait. Edit: Hello Chris! I'm idm1337, just ordered the A2-300 on the first. Can't wait.

Thanks for the help. I looked at some of the things you mentioned and the Premier Acoustics sub peaked my interest. Does anyone know anything about this sub? Is it as good as the specs say? Should I wait or go with something else? I like both the other subs but they are out of my price range completely.

Elemental Designs subwoofers are very good, but if you are in a hurry and you need to stay below $300, check these:

Congratulations. It should be good. The only way we can accurately analyze your subwoofer is to invite all of us over for a few drinks and Blu movies.

You will not be disappointed Congrats!Bic and cadence are probably the best in that price range.

That is speculated to be the replacement for the HT series that is getting such positive reviews...I think you will be pleased from all that I have read on the BIC America Acoustech line
