Default I just got my first blu-ray player today! Sony S350
Yeah, I just got it today but I cant use it until I get my TV..

I went to Kmart earlier today and they were sold out.. I then proceeded to go to sears and they were also sold out.. but my keen eye saw a floor model one that they had.. so I got the floor model for 179.99.. It was in good shape and worked fine..

yep...big day for you congrats! Prepare to spend much more money once you start getting into audio capabilities etc. It is so much fun though, I wish that I could start it all over!

Hate to tell you this... but I think you are going to want speakers are well.

Maybe some cables..

And... Popcorn.

But hey... Congrats on the score. Nice player and nice price. I would go hook it up to someone else's TV in the meantime.

Welcome. I bumped up from the Sony S-300 to the S-350 today. Finally did something smart for a change.

The 350 is awesome! WALL-E played flawlessly!

I just bought the S350 today as well. A lot of good Black Friday deals on this guy. I have to admit that I was one of the early adopters of HD DVD. I enjoyed that format, but I have finally switched to Blu Ray. Its good to be here.

I have seen people having issues with the S300 playing Wall-E and other movies. Will this be a problem with this player? Does this have to do the fact that the S300 doesn't have BD Live?

I picked the S350 primarily due to the fact that it has ethernet as well as BD Live. I also didn't like the noise factor of the PS3, even though thats a great system.
