You can't be serious.

That's like asking, "I currently ride a bike, but just bought a Bentley. Will I notice much?"

If you're spending $2500 on a TV, well, what can you expect?

I don't know.. man, think about.

If you were watching a 19" TV, and just bought a 46" $2,500 TV, don't you see something wrong here?

Either:

1. He just stole $2,500, and had no idea how to spend it.
2. He just sold $2,500 worth of drugs, and had no idea how to spend it.
3. He stole his parent's CC for $2,500, and had no idea how to spend it.
4. Inherited $2,500, and had no idea how to spend it.

Which one would you choose? I think it's number 3.

Just kidding.. obviously.

Actually I would have thought

5. 0% financing until January 2010. Or something to that affect.

You, my friend, will have a ginormous orgasm when you see your first BR.

OR, you can have a ginormous orgasm at the theater...

Ultimately, your choice my friend.

The theatre make me want to wait for movies to come to Blu-ray, I saw 2 movies this year (Indiana Jones & TDK), at the drive-in, will prolly go see bond and then Im done. Can't stand not seeing movies in HD and kids plus the rediculous prices. Oh a 3rd, Horton hear a Who.... $40 and my 2 girls couldn't sit and watch the movie, I left 40 minutes into the movie... terrible. a reason I go to the drive-in if it is a must see.

The first time I saw Ironman, The Incredible Hulk and Transformers was all on BLU, well transformers wasn't it was DVD. But you get my meaning.

It'll be the same.

"It" being the world. You won't change it with your TV.

Default Oh definitely!

It is a world of difference. I don't even like going to the movies anymore. Why? When I can sit at home on my couch with my BF, comfy clothes, all curled up, with a gorgeous TV to watch and surround sound blaring, plus dinner, munchies, or whatever we want at a fraction of the price!! It's the best! hehe... you'll LOVE IT!

Well as far as the theater experience you got a great LCD but whats your sound system like? Without a good sound system your only getting half of the experience. If I was watching blus and listening to them with just the TV speakers then I'd probably still go to the movies. But, you really haven't experienced the full theater experience at home until you try front projection.
