Default Building My First HT

Ok so here is what I got so far.

TV: Sony Bravia KDL40-XBR4
Speakers: 2 Polk M70's
Receiver: Denon 2908CI
Blu-Ray Player\Gaming Console: PS3 60GB

I need help on what cables I should buy for my speakers from monoprice. Currently right now I have my PS3 and scientific atlanta 8300HD cable box running through HDMI 1.3a cables to my hdmi ports on my tv.

Also right now I'm pretty much set on buying the Polk CS 2 center speaker if I can still find one at Circuit or somewhere else for a great price, but from what I heard this center is a discontinued model and is kind of hard to find. I was looking at the Polk CS 10 or Polk CSi A4 as other options if I couldn't find the Polk CS 2.Anyone else have any other suggestions for a center besides a Polk model center?

Next question I have is what sub woofer should I get. This is for more down the road maybe in 2 or 3 months I'll buy a sub woofer. But so far I've been looking at the Definitive Technology - ProSub 1000 or Elemental Designs A3 - 250 Subwoofer.

Also should I also invest in surge suppressor like the Panamax 5300-PM or something else like this?

Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

It is crucial to timbre match the front three, so stick with Polk CS2 or CS10 for center channel

Elemental Designs A2-300 is a great sub at a good price

And most on here would agree that Power Conditioners/Surge Protectors are a good investment (Peace of Mind)

good luck

You don't need this 12 gauge in-wall speaker wire but for the price and length, you might as well stock up! You could also use the wire for other speakers in other zones and other places. It would also be good wire for outdoors too since it is extra insulated and protected.
