Default Does anyone own the Sony PSLX250H

Turntable? If so how is it, I can get it with speakers and cables for 153 on amazon...and I am really debating on buying that over the 32gb touch.

Looks decent. Since you're only going to listen to LPs and not scratch or DJ then I don't see why you shouldn't get them.

I'm saving up for these Vestax VCI-300

These are just sick. It's easier too since you can DJ by sight matching wave patterns. Built in sampler too.

Whats sic is how well Serato and digital turntables like those emulate scratches perfectly.

The only complaint I have heard is that the surface is smaller than a typical vinyl so you don't get the full feel of it. The Numarks are the right size.

It fits in a briefcase BTW.

I have played with digital ones at the store, just pop in a cd and scratch away...and I think its fun and all but I would rather use LP's myself.

RJD2 when he does shows he STILL uses LP's..LIVE!

He mixes them right in front of you and when he is done he just tosses it aside haha.

The problem with that, and the reason more professional DJ's are using Serato is because you don't want to lug a case around. Hip-hop DJ's mostly use vinyl still because they dig. My wife brother goes to record stores weekly digging for stuff.

I want to be able to load two mp3 playlists on the fly and mix. It's a matter of personal preference.

If you really want to start DJing, save up for two cheap direct drive turntables(you can get 2 Numarks for about $100) and a decent mixer(about $50-$100). Invest in good head shells and needles, and you're all set.

Money well spent.
