Thanks for posting this. Great news! I've always liked this thriller.

With Someone to Watch Over Me just being issued, and now this, nice to see some '80s romantic thrillers getting some recognition.

I had never heard of this one but read about this somewhere in the past year and found a VHS transfer of it on YouTube. It waas taped off the USA Network IIRC with the little lead in at the start which was fun. I admittedly started watching it kinda ironically thinking it would be terrible but I actually enjoyed it despite the low quality transfer. Got my pre-order in to support these releases and see it in HD. We'll see if it holds up on a 2nd viewing.

And I really do miss these types of thrillers that were so popular in the 80s and 90s. This was a nice little gem.

I watched this so many times back in the late 80’s/early 90’s. Very underrated thriller.

Its almost free all the time for streaming on Vudu and Amazon Prime (and a few other scattered Roku channels). If it is not right now, it will be next month

Poor compression on this one. The 1 hr, 52 minute feature only takes 21 GB on the BD-25, with no extras, leaving 4 GB on the table. That extra space could have been used to beef up the bitrate from ~20 mbps to ~25-26 mbps, which would have improved the compression.

But, alas Kino didn't care to put in that extra effort, and the video presentation suffers for it. So, no purchase from me. They must learn where it counts, the lack of dollars from my wallet, that shoddiness just doesn't cut it...
