theres been rumors about this for awhile....even mentioned in magazines...

you sure it's april fools?...there aren't any disclaimers at the website...

Considering its going to be the first game to use a BD50 disc, i'd say april fools.

as blitz said, the game is going to be huge. not a chance it can fit on a dvd9 unless it becomes the first 6 disc console game.

They better be messing about! This is going to be the first game that will show the ps3's potential! If it goes on 360, they have to make the game 'worse' so that the 360 can use it. I'm guessing that mgs4 will need alot of power to be played and the 360 wont be powerful enough to play it.

I really do hope its just a joke. And i'm sure sony already have a deal with konami for an exclusive.

Completely agree! The only way Xbox can fit that much game for the system is to paint one of their systems black, that way they can mimic the PS3, and burn a CD-R and when booted would say you have been fooled, we did not think you would fall for it, but as you can see, we have found another way to screw you! Should have gottten the PS3!

Doesn't matter to me. I'm getting the PS3 version. They could put it on more than one disc for the 360.

I think this is true. My friend works at Gamestop, and according to internal emails they've been getting, it's going to happen. I didn't believe him at first, but he knew about DMC4 and the Xbox Elite months before they were officially announced. And he told me this news about MGS4 going multi platform at least 2 months ago. I know you guys aren't going to believe me, so all I'm gonna say is don't be surprised if you see MGS4 on 360 in the future.

50GB of information for the Xbox 360? That is completely laughable. The 360 can't even store data on the hard drive for fast playback and multi-threaded calculations.

A lot of GameStop people seem to be anti-PS3 anyways. The most believable lie is when it's mixed with truth.

First, PlaySatation lost exclusive rights to the Grand Theft Auto Series, with GTA4 even set to debut on he Xbox and PS3 at the same time and not 6 months or more behind the PlayStation like before. Now, it really does sound like PlayStation is losing exclusive rights to the MGS series too. Soon, the new MGS games will come out on Xbox at the same time as PlayStation and not 6 months behind. Microsoft has been very aggressive about getting the big selling games for their console, and so far, IT'S WORKED!

One by one, game makers are giving up loyalty to Sony when they see Micro$oft's big bucks.

Thats what it SEEMS like, but it is not true. GTA was made on the xbox so it was never a true exclusive. Hell, they made a Silent Hill game for the original xbox as well, im sure that sold in record numbers. The truth of the matter is, the genres that worked on the PS2 will work on the PS3. The playstation install base enjoys a very wide variety of titles WORLDWIDE. The xbox is limited to shooters and racing games. I predict that DMC4 on the 360 will sell not even 1/3rd of what the PS3 version sells. Its the Xbox owner mentality, if its not a FPS and Online, it sucks.
