Please look at the last pic in my HT gallery under my avatar and give your opinion on if I should keep those rears on stands or get some small shelves and mount them on the wall. Also, how easy is it to run the speaker wire from the wall and down to the base board?

I'd rate running wires down an existing wall to be pretty difficult and since you ask about it I'm going to assume that you don't have any idea what it entails and thus rate the difficulty scale high for you. (no offense intended).
I'd leave you setup as is, your rears are right in your ears though... What's you viewing distance from the couch to the screen? I'd move the seating forward, perhaps. Screen size looks 50"...? |

You're right about me not knowing what it entails, hence my asking. I figured I would just need to take the base boards off and feed the speaker wire down the wall with fish wire through a hole at the bottom. Is this way off? |

![]() Thanks. Something like that could work for you too. If your room situation, like mine, doesn't allow you to move your couch very far away from the walls; it's better to get your rears higher up the wall than usual. The panels are just acoustical hanging ceiling tiles covered in fabric with a hot glue gun. Takes about 10 minutes to make one. Cut to any shape or size you want. Pick fabrics that look good with your decor and they can really accent a room. |
