Default Insignia 37" 1080p

I just purchased this tv and was wondering what configuration would be best for watching blu rays on?

I'd love to hear any suggestions, especially from anyone who owns this tv.

Thanks

Generally, change the settings over to Cinema or Standard. And if the brightness, color, backlight etc. are all maxed out, lower it to like 50-60.

This site isn't the best at calibration, because of course that depends if you are watching in a well lit room, dim room, or dark room.

But it gives you a general idea, and you can work from here.

Your best would likely be to grab a copy of the Digital Video Essentials disc from any decent retailer near you. Follow the instructions in the lighting conditions you most commonly watch TV in and save them to a preset if you can.

If you can save multiple presets, rerun the calibration and use them for other lighting conditions (such as night viewing if you saved a mid-day calibration to preset 1).
