Angelina Jolie's Lips

I just watched WANTED. I had high hopes for this film, based on the review here at Blu-ray.com. While the film offered a wild roller coaster ride of visuals and storyline, I was SHOCKED by Anjolina Jolie's blistered, bone-dry, wrinkled lips. What happened to her? Too many tanning booth sessions????!

Jolie was once an icon of sexuality - especially as the powerful dominatrix Lara Croft of Tomb Raider fame. Her character in Wanted was, at best, a dried out wanna be super power with boobs that did nothing more than act as a pumped up bullet proof vest. Her lips looked like Herman Munster's sphincter with hemmoroids. Want happened to her???? Her last effective role was in Beowulf, but even then she was semi-animated. Could it be that Blu-ray's crystal-clear image is a curse for seductresses like Anjolina Jolie? The format is so sharp that one could actually see razor burn on this celebrity's chest!

Has Anjolina Jolie lost it? Has she been through the midnight drive-through at Taco Bell one too many times???? What was the last movie in which she appeared voluptuous? Has Blu-ray revealed her to be nothing more than a fat chick with make-up???? If so, how come Jessica Alba still looks so sexy and youthful on Blu-ray while Anjolina Jolie looks more like Arnold Schwarzenegger in drag????

It's because she went so anorexic. She used to look gorgeous every since she lost so much weight she looks like a walking skeleton. I should know, I suffer from Anorexia myself and have been as thin as she was (and I'm a 6'1 guy). It really takes a toll on your body.

agreed. it was the first time i was not really attracted to her. it was sickning. she looked like skeletors bride.

It's really too bad that gossip magazine and society put these actresses under such scrutiny, especially with their weight. I would say that most young actresses in Hollywood need to put on 5-10 lbs to get healthy looking, seriously.

Also, with Angelina, she did adopt several kids recently and had a few naturally so she will definitely lose some looks there.

Anorexia is certainly hard on the body, not enough energy, not enough nutrients, etc. The body NEEDS certain things to maintain and repair.

I agree. That's why I give up my money for BDs. It's hard on my body (and I don't even have a uterus), but I still want my high def nutrients. So what if I cannot pay my rent. I figure I can pull a GENERAL MOTORS and get a 35 Billion Dollar grant. At that rate I will NEVER need an Amazon 3 for 1 BD sale ever again.

I haven't seen it on Blu-Ray, but when I saw it in the theaters I remember thinking that she had never looked hotter. I'm guessing with the level of hyperbole in your post, you were merely looking for an opportunity to rip on her ("razor burn on this celebrity's chest." Yeah, right. I highly doubt Angelina has ANY reason to shave her chest).

As for why Alba might look more youthful than Angelina, do you think it might have something to with Alba being 6 years younger? Quite the shocker there...of course, I'm only a year younger than Jolie and can't ever buy liquor without showing my ID. But then I'm taken back every time I see Jennifer Garner doing a commercial for anti-aging cream.
