Default Players that play AVC-HD discs?

Is there a list of the players that will play AVC-HD discs? I want to get one for my parents that will be able to use the videos I've made of their granddaughter. Please help!

I know these 2 will

PS3
Sony S350

I've played my AVC-HD (on DVD) on both of these players and it works great

I'm hoping for another option besides the PS3. I just can't see convincing my parents to get a gaming system.

Best bang for the buck... go for the Sony 350. If your parents have an older audio receiver without an HDMI in, but has anologue ins go for the Sony 550, which has the 7.1 outs.

There is no receiver. This is just going to be hooked up to their TV.

don't tell them its a gaming system. its an entertainment system, plus the grandkids have something to do when they come visit, they might even want to visit more often

Isn't AVC (Blu-ray) and AVCHD the same CODEC?
