Default Dr. Seuss' The Lorax (Deluxe Edition) - Review

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax Blu-ray

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax Blu-ray Review

This is the animated TV special from 1972. I'm excited about this release. I guess Warner Bros. has obtained the rights to the rest of the TV specials from Universal (who released the DVD edition). I know this is being released to cross-promote with the new movie from Universal (Warner did the same thing when "Horton" came out back in '08), but it makes me wonder if they'll be releasing other specials on Blu soon (like "The Cat in the Hat" or "Dr. Seuss On the Loose"). What are your thoughts?

FYI, if you're looking to buy something on DVD then buy this instead of the one linked to in OP:

http://www.amazon.com/Seuss-Celebrat.../dp/B0009ZE9XA

It has basically all of the old TV specials including Grinch Night for a few dollars more, whereas that other link has just 2 of them.

one of my favorite Dr. Suess stories (only 2nd to the Star Belly Sneetches). I def want to pick this up, but $18 seems a bit pricey for a bit of nostalgia. I really hope I can get my daughter to enjoy these stories as much as I did.

This should be an extra on the movie Blu-Ray.

$25 for a 25 minute short?

Either that or load up all the Dr Suess specials in a set.

I remember liking this as a kid but I think maybe $7.99 is more reasonable for an old 25 minute cartoon.

I would like to buy this but this one is way too short to be so high priced. Plus, I will only support combo packs that have a "fair use" digital copy. Like the ones Universal and Paramount are releasing now. Sure they still contain UltraViolet Digital Stream but they also contain an iTunes/Windows Media Player Digital Copy too.
If Warner Brothers would do this instead of just having UltraViolet Digital Stream, I would be more willing to buy their new combo packs without having to "double-dip" in some cases.

I know it says UltraViolet Digital Copy but I call it UltraViolet Digital Stream because you stream it to the cloud library.
