Default Importing from U.S to Uk Getting expensive

I just noticed over the past month that importing titles from the states has become increasingly less cost effective. I used to order quite frequently from Movietyme but these days new titles have gone from £15.99 to £20.99. I have found myself waiting for the release dates in the uk to come round before i purchase. One example is Hellboy 2 Movietyem £20.99 and play.com £13.99.

Its a little annoying as we tend to get release dates sometime after the usa with some releases. In this financial climate i find myself have to make saving where i can.

Just want to start this off so others may express there views on this and also how USA buyers find cost changes inporting from Europe.

I don't import. I went to Europe (lovely place) for two weeks and was tired of paying double way before we got back.

I do miss the beer though. German beer is good stuff.

But it has gotten much cheaper for Americans to import from Europe.
