I mean I would get it if Bush got hit, or if Bush felt bad about it. But he looked like a boxer with those reflexes and he does not even care that it happened, so I just dont see what makes it so funny.

well....considering it is THE highest form of disrespect in the Arab nations....

me, not being the biggest Bush supporter, actually thought he took the whole thing in great stride....his comment after the fact was perfect...for being a pretty bad US prez, he has quite a moral compass that is worthy of much merit.

I understand that it is the highest disrespect in Arab nations, but its not HERE and everyone on the radio and TV here is making it seem like this big hilarious thing.

But I agree he handled it great, he could have thrown the shoe back..
