Default Need ALOT of information on HDTV's!

So i'm getting moved to the TV department at Circuit City and i've been told i'm going to be the "top" guy in the department, i know a good bit about HDTV's but want to know EVERYTHING. If there an online handbook or something that someone has put together that updates that i can take a look at? I'd like it all to be in the same place. but seperate websites are fine if anyone knows any?

thanks

no, word has been handed down that we aren't going out of business. Letters have been posted all around our back rooms from above. People just see the words Circuit City and bankruptcy in the same sentence and assume too much. unless of course we're being lied to.

Least hes trying and willing to absorb information. Kudos to op! CC first mistake was when they fired all their highly compensated knowledgeable employees to be replace by cheap labor.

I used to work at CC when I was in high school I was a "Entertainment Specialist" selling HDTV's and home theater systems thank god I actually was into it and read articles all about it as it being my hobby because there training was complete garbage and all they would push was the damn infinity speakers used to piss me off

DO yourself a favour and understand a bit about resolutions and how they work with each other in terms of interlacing, panel resolution, source resoution, etc.

Read this - http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volum...07-part-1.html

Then know about viewing distances and how they, along with source resolution, should help you choose your screen size and not "oh, 1080p only matters at 50" and higher" which makes you look pretty ignorant.

Read this - http://www.carltonbale.com/2006/11/1080p-does-matter/
