Default Check it out, i upgraded my tv double the size! HUGE!

So this is what i have

it was a 5" screen, built in radio and cassette player with the sleek futuristic look, pretty much the standard these day IMO.

I jumped on the upgrade train on black friday and nearly double up the screen size. This thing is a monster! i have to move my bed back 4 feets so i could have the proper viewing distance that george lucas recommend.

It's come with its own power cord, turn dial station switcher, and extended attenna built in! Not many lcd or plasma have this. The only downside is that it is not as thin as i wanted and i can't really hung it on the wall because my mom won't let me . I'm still trying to find the HDMI input on this thing, i'm pretty sure it's hidden some where, it's pretty stealthy

Anyway, so that is my baby, envy? don't be because if you work as hard as i am, maybe someday you too sir can afford such luxurious tv.

That's a "10" in my book! Congrats! You should really get a proper stand for it though.... I found this, which would work PERFECTLY

Come Dean Foods, that is a cheap model, he should most definetly step up to a hood brand and go all out.

I think 2x12's and cinder blocks would match the decor better in his room. The brick and cinder clock gives it that urban feel I think the OP was going for. The 2x12's could be stained to match the rest of the wood in the room.

BTW, you need to tell mommy that when she starts buying you your HT equipment is when she can start telling you where you can mount it. Otherwise, bend over and you can mount it there!

BTW, you know i'm jokin' right?

The only rival to the upgrade would be a real life sock puppet show. Congrats!

I don't know how one can afford such an upgrade. Making payments? Paid cash?

How did you do it?

I have heard there is a lot of money in tea. Infact, there was an uprising in Boston a number of years back and all the tea was thrown into the harbor causing a hugh jump in the stock market. A lot of people made money. I guess you were one of them.

Going from a 5" screen to a 9-incher is a 224% increase. Nice!

I'm guessing he spent many an evening "hawking his wares" on the local streetcorner.
