Default Peter Bracke's "Day of the Dead (2007)" review

Being a rabid Romero fan I would say Yes.......

When I read a review by Bracke, I typically add 1-2 stars in eah category. If he rates something 5 stars, then it's really freaking good.

The guy reviews the way he does for the attention. Nothing more.

The Day of the Dead "remake" has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Not even to watch with a buddy to laugh at.

I watched it streaming from Netflix. It was terrible. I would never care to see the movie again.

They removed my original post title which was:

Is Peter Bracke the most clueless @sshole to ever review a film?

Being a rabid Romero fan i would say yes......

I think you'd be hard pushed to find any halfwit to agree with his review.

reviews like this show that Peter Bracke has no f**cking clue what he's talking about. as a romero fan, this was the worst interpretation of the classic ever. i mean, nick cannon?? that right there should have given it a 1 star. hidefdigest is dead to me...

I love Romero and I found this movie worked best if you didn't think of it as a remake of Day of the Dead, because it really isn't. Sure there are a couple of characters that have the same names, but not much else.

Still wasn't a good movie though.

Yeah, I didn't look at it as a remake since pretty much the only thing it had in common with the original was Zombies and a few military people, but that was it. I tried to watch it with an open mind, but it was just terrible. I did end up forcing myself to watch the whole thing, but I really wanted to just shut it off. Yeah, and the vegetarian guy...give me a break!

What annoyed me in his review, that he slated the original DOTD & said he found the characters & storyline boring. The remake was utter shite from start to finish & i can't believe that anyone could prefer this over Romero's classic.

See this is the shit we get when a-holes think it's a great idea to remake cult classics. I really hate to see how they butcher Evil Dead or Childs Play.
