Anyone else pumped about this? I downloaded the demo from live this past weekend, and the trial got me hooked like no other game before. After wrestling with the more thrifty part of myself that said 'wait a month and save $20 from half.com' I just ordered it from Amazon.com and will hopefully have it by tomorrow (judging by how fast amazon gets me most blu's & games).

I played the demo about 10 times or so, and each time was different with where the zombies were and the locations of ammo/bombs/healthpacks. The numbers and 'type' of zombies were also different from game to game, some games I had a much easier time than others.

Seems to me it's a pretty brainless shooter thats lacking much of a story, but that's part of the appeal to me: zombie infestation, don't know why, it just is, so try to survive. This barebones approach actually helps it feel more immersive and the enviorment valve created certainly is a good one. I'm not fan of the 'running zombies' (I prefer the huge, shambling horde), but it works. And the AI teammates are VERY impressive and have saved me quite a few times after I got tackled by hunters and witches.

If you don't have a 360, check out the demo on the PC. Seriously, this game is WAY fun and worth the look.
