Jeepers Creepers: Reborn Blu-ray

Jeepers Creepers Reborn unfolds as the Horror Hound Festival holds its first ever event in Louisiana, where it attracts hundreds of geeks, freaks and die-hard horror fans from far and wide. Among them is fanboy Chase and his girlfriend Laine, who is visiting a festival of this kind for the first time. But as the event approaches, Laine begins to experience unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town's past, and in particular, local legend/urban myth The Creeper. As the festival arrives and the blood-soaked entertainment builds to a frenzy, Laine believes that something unearthly has been summoned…and that she is at the center of it.

It is pretty bad and dismisses the previous three films as just films, so there's zero continuity. I'm a completist too but I'm happy to wait for price reductions on this one.

I picked up the DVD of this when I saw it at Walmart on release day, and just now (Dec. 28th) on saw the Blu-ray in stores! I'm not sure why it took so long to show up?

It took me three tries over the last month to finally finish this movie. The fact that it throws out the rest of the series is frustrating. Interestingly, the best part of the movie is the 16-minute special feature looking at the new Creeper design!

I couldn't bring myself to even keep this despite loving the series. Even 3 has it's moments, this one just doesn't. Thank God I found one at Redbox to try before opening my copy. Full return, only out 2 bucks instead of 15!

Only some Wal-Marts carry the blu-ray (for those interested). My local has never had one (although I did return my copy there, but they ripped it open and said they do that to send them back). I see it at the better Wal-Mart on the way to the airport every time I've stopped in there though.

I've had a hard time finding this Blu-ray. My nearest WM doesn't carry it, and I've been checking two other stores since release date but only see empty spots. Today the spot appeared to be empty, but I noticed a BD faced flat behind the runner which happened to be it. That means they had gotten copies in, they just keep selling out too quickly.

Though pretty much every WM around me as been neglecting their movie section lately. This always seems to happen around the holidays.
