Hi, I found your forum a few days ago while looking for some feedback for Bose.
Well, after some reading I decided against them and have been looking into some other combinations (don't want to start the usual Bose discussion ![]() I am a total newbie when it comes to Home Audio Systems . I read quite a few good reviews/comments of the Yamaha RX-V663 receiver and it sounds like a good option to start up with. I know that I should listen to it first and I will try to do that. One thing I couldn't find is what the scan rate of the AM/FM radio is. Is it every 0.1 or only the uneven values (.1, -3,...)? Why is that feature important for me? I will move to Germany in a few months and there the radio stations use also even frequencies, such as 99.2. I know that the scan rate shouldn't be a deciding factor, but it would be nice to know up front, before I go out and spend my money. As far as I know the V663 supports dual voltages, which I need as well. That is also the reason why I am leaning towards the Yamaha, due to the fact I could use it in Germany without a power converter. Thanks for the help! |
