Acer 6920g And Hp Hdx-181050ea

Hi Guys

i have just recently purchased these 2 machines, i still dont understand one thing about this bluray, maybe you guys here can help me.

i recieved a bluray demo disc with the Acer machine which had about 36 minutes of different top title films/movies trailers. when i play it in the acer machine and go to the bluray menu and it shows several titles and which i can play.

then i played it with the HP laptop and went into the bluray menu screen and saw the same tiltes but some extra titles too, but some were missing too.

ie in the Acer laptop and cant see Casino Royal, Spider Man, but can see in The Line of Fire etc.

in the HP i can see Casino Royal, Spider Man etc, but cant see in The Line of Fire

in nut shell some trailers are gained but lost on the Acer, but the trailers that are lost on the Acer are gained in the Hp and the trailers that are gained in the Acer are lost on the Hp.

Why is this? i just use Acer standard software to run the bluray disc on the 6920G, and the hp standard software on the HDX-181050EA

Odd machines perhaps.
My suggestion is to get full version software for both machines.

ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre or PowerDVD 8 Ultra are both good players.

*I* prefer ArcSoft myself for my VAIOs.

Free? Nowhere legally.
They are pay applications.

~$99 each(maybe less if on sale).

All of my discs have played with ArcSoft TMT.

i have kind of worked it out, if i change the regions from a to b or c on the acer, usineg acer arcade delux it plays different titles.

to me this sounds a little confusing as i cant be changing the regions each and everytime i paly a BD, and the other thing is that i only have 5 atempts to change the regions.

example

region A: no Casino Royal
region B: Casino Royal played
region C: Casino Royal played but a longer trailer than in Region B

other than purchasing new software, is there a better solution? and what is the best region to be in/use if you live in the UK

Europe is usually Region B.
