HD Content Question - Blu-ray Forum

In the US, is HD content transmitted through cable, satellite and air in 720p or 1080p? How about other major industrialized nations?

With TWC in the US, it's 720p & 1080i.

I know over the air at the moment doesn't do 1080p on 1080i, But it depends on the channels some send 720p instead of 1080i.
