Serenity in Canada? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone seen any sign or notice that Serenity will be available in Canada next week when it releases. I've seen it on Amazon.ca but haven't come across any mention of it on Bestbuy.ca or Futureshop.ca.

Just thought it was a little strange....

hi azereus, i did some research and discover that this blu-ray title will be sold next week at:

archambault musique - at 26.99$ ca. (30-12-08)

hmv- at 27.99$ ca. (30-12-08)

Yep it will be available at Future Shop/Best Buy etc provided they get their shipments on time. We received our copies on Dec 23 in my store.

I already bought it. Wallmart put it on the shelf early. It looks and sounds great.

I know that at least one Future Shop in Calgary has it already. I was doing some Boxing Week Blu buying with the ton of gift cards I got, and I saw they had a whole stack of Serenity Blus sitting behind the entertainment division desk. I asked if I could have one of them, and the guy just smiled and shook his head.

He said, "he couldn't even sell it to me if he wanted to, the inventory item wasn't in their computers yet, and that I had to wait until Tues."
