prolly need glasses. I have never heard of anything 3-d that did not need them. Aren't most newer tvs (samsung soney panny) all 3-d ready. I think this will just be more of a novelty then anything mainstream. Plus what good is it if you lose the glasses or the little tykes break them. i could care less for the most part

The truth is my 8 year old was talking about a movie called BOLT and he was telling me that it was 3D.

The only reason i am looking into to all this 3 D stuff is for him
Personally i could care less,Really.
See i was'nt to sure what 3D ready really means.

Thats why i started this thread and the truth is i still don't ?

Lets say your Plasma isn't 3d ready, can you still play those 3D movies and if so would you still get an effect?

I had thought there were some sets that didn't require glasses.

Oh, saw Bolt this weekend- not 3D at our theater, but a fun movie nonetheless. It's a cute little flick that I'd definitely recommend for the little ones.

My understanding was that most of them were DLP's. I haven't looked into it much but I don't think there are any plasmas with this technology. It may have been a Mitsubishi feature but I could be wrong.

So if i watch a 3D movie it will just look like any other move until i put on the 3D feature on my Plasma?

Is that what you think 3D ready means?

This stuff is so new there's alot of us, of coarse me being one of them that absolutely don't know what this is and what it does?

I would imagine the glasses would come in the movie case?

I don't rent movies (i don't belong to a Video store). But i think iam going to Purchase Polar Express in 3-D just to give my review on this Subject.

I'll bet i will be let down and Disappointed with this ,But i am curious.

I've noticed 75 people have looked at this thread right now and there's only 3 of us that have comments.
That shows me how new this really is .

I can also see this 3-D thing not really takeing off (just some really cheap gimic) But in that same comment i heard that they were giong to make some video games in 3-D ?

I don't know if there's any truth to that?
But i will check it out a 3-D movie on my Plasma
