Default Favoite Christmas Song

I thought since its almost upon us that it be fun to find out everyones favorite Christmas song.

My Top 5 are...

Carol of the Bells - Celtic Women
Carol of the Bells - Steamroller
Little Drummer Boy - Male Voice
Little Drummer Boy - Celtic Women
Christmas at Ground Zero - Weird Al

I always felt Carol of the bells is a strong son, lot of power, and strength that pulse with the speed of the notes...

Drummer boy has always struck me specifically I just love the honest and innocence of the song.

Ground Zero I saw during an anime music video with robotech, I found it amusing and very unexpected, surly catch company off guard...

So ive shared mine and explained lets hear it from yall...

My top 6 (because I felt I had to cut it off at some point)

The Christmas Song (Nat King Cole) -- the greatest

What Christmas Means To Me (Stevie Wonder) -- great and upbeat

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings
(Barenaked Ladies feat. Sarah McLachlan) -- something catchy about it

Feliz Navidad (Jose Feliciano) -- reminds me of being a kid

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
(Andy Williams) -- reminds me of NYC at Christmas-time

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (A Charlie Brown Christmas) -- something haunting yet peaceful about the beginning

Ok it'll be six from me too then (and I'll exlude all of those from BIGLAD's excellent choices)

1. 2000 Miles - The Pretenders
2. Stop The Cavalry - Jona Lewie
3. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - Darlene Love
4. In Dulci Jubilo - Mike Oldfield or The Mediæval Bæbes
5. Il Est Ne Le Divin Enfant - Siouxsie and the Banshees
6. Fairytale of New York - The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl

Out of interest, have any Twin Peaks fans heard the cast singing the Twelve Days of Christmas? Very cool!

O Come, O Come Emanuel
What Child Is This?
Silent Night
O Holy Night
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Mr Mackey's Carol Of The Bells (from South park)
Christmas At Ground Zero
Marys Boy Child
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Dominick The Italian Christmas Donkey ( i'm Italian)
Christmas Time In Hell (also from South Park)

There a nice mix of serious and moving as well as festive funny songs. Also Wizards In winter is ok but i got sick of it.

highly reccomend O Come, O Come Emanuel. My favorite.

Okay, I hate to bring this one up unless you went to elementary/middle school in the mid/early 90s, but -

"Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg - the batmobile lost its wheel, and the Joker ran away, hey!"

"Batman's in the kitchen, Robin's in the hall, Joker's in the bathroom, peeing on the wall, ho ho!"

((to tune of Jingle Bells, obviously))
