xvYCC (expanded gamut) is a supposedly standard YCC-compatible encoding that could be used on a Blu-ray. But the spec doesn't currently have a flag to tell a supporting player it is xvYCC. And I've not read anything on how compatible it really is. The issue would be what would happen if a player or set not expecting wildly fluctuating values in the 0-15 and 241-255 ranges (used for the blacker-than-black and whiter-than-white in standard YCC) got them.
