Overall Vivia Elite provided that you are NOT getting Eco cases. While I don't like Eco cases in general, I will take the Vortex ones over Elite because they don't actually have complete holes cut into the cases... instead the plastic is just thinner in a few spots.

Otherwise, I prefer Elite, particularly when dealing with 3-disc cases (which I don't think come in 'eco' form so far anyway) since the Elite ones that the same thickness as a 1 disc case.

I pick Vortex cases. Viva cases seem more fragile than Vortex cases.

Vortex cases are absolute garbage. I ordered about 10 of them several moths ago, and my Blu-rays wouldn't even fit on the hubs! I had to chuck all of them into the garbage.

Viva elite is the best case. It's not even a contest. They obviously have the best hub design that won't **** up your discs.

I'd go with Viva Elites any day. If you can find them new for less than a dollar a piece then buy them to replace those blasted eco cases.

I ordered a shipment of Vortex cases a couple of months ago from Casetopia, and so far, my Blus have fit into them without a problem. I like them because they're made of thicker (and thus more durable) plastic, and the raised logo on the front is a cool touch.

if i replace any cases, the replacements need to be the exact same case
the movie was released in!
therefore vortex for sony, disney, etc. and viva elite for warner, fox, paramount, etc.

If I could I would put everything in Criterion cases. But seeing as the artwork would be weird looking I went with Viva Elite.

Any cases that are original flimsy Plastic saving with holes in them are absolute garbage period. I replace all flimsy plastic saving originals with SOLID Blu-ray cases. Anything less is not worth keeping. Some movie releases have different colored cases like the "Road House" movie which was red. "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" was black they were garbage too, I replaced with SOLID red & black cases. You would think when the studios decide to change out the original color they would make it a better case right? Wrong! North America is so cheap to sell premimum Blu-rays with crap cases shame on them! Europe takes the movie business very serious especially Germany they construct releases with the best Artwork and I have never been disappointed with any cheap Blu-ray cases from them. Take a lesson Hollywood!

Viva Elite for the win.

I order Viva Elite replacement cases in boxes of 50 from Casetopia to replace all the eco-pack cases that come with certain disc releases.

In general I prefer non-eco Viva Elites but I think Sony and Disney titles look sharp in Vortex cases particularly when the artwork is sized to fit them. Some Sony covers are a tad too large to fit in a Viva without warping a bit. I prefer both brands to the cheap sharp cornered cases that Olive uses though.

Viva Elites are not what they used to be. They are thinner.
