Default Close Encounters of the Third Kind Blu-ray question

I noticed there are 2 different Blu-rays for this.

1. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Close.../19722/#Review

2. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Close...d-Blu-ray/529/

Is there any difference as to what is on the discs? Also do they both have all the the stuff that comes with the disc like the mini-poster and 64-page Collectible booklet?

I just added it to my wish list and I am thinking of maybe ordering it tonight from Amazon with some other Blu-rays/Blu-ray.

The first link is a re-release of the initial Blu-ray release which came out in 2007. Looking at the back cover art of the re-release it seems that everything from the original release is included on the re-release including the poster. However, it appears that the re-release is packaged in a standard Blu-ray case instead of the the special packaging of the 2007 release. I would recommend getting the original 2007 release since its cheaper on Amazon than the re-release and you get better packaging, assuming the re-release is a standard Blu-ray case.

I just bought your #2 link at Best Buy for $14.99 a few days ago. It has all the stuff.

I'm pretty sure that the#1 link comes in a standard blu-ray case with both discs, but no poster or booklet.

Edit: I asked this same question not too long ago:https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...thread-14.html
About halfway down the page.

Thank you both.

Another things is The Da Vinci Code has 3 Blu-rays. From reading the reviews here on Blu-ray.com, it looks like the discs are the same on all 3.

1. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-D...e-Blu-ray/159/

2. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-D...Blu-ray/16049/

3. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-D...-Blu-ray/4301/

If there is no extra stuff on the disc from the gift set that meanst I will not need the gift set. As for linke 1 and 2 it looks like maybe one has a slip cover and the other does not or the slip cover is a little different. I have the one from link 2, but I have not opened it yet. When I take off the slip cover it looks just the one from link 1.

About halfway down the page.
I think I will get the one from the second link.

I just ordered Close Encounters of the Third Kind Blu-ray and I purchased the 2007 edition. The price went down to $12.99, so I saved a little more money by taking time to ask questions about this Blu-ray lol

To get free shipping I added The Dark Crystal on Blu-ray for $10.99 (years ago when I was a kid my parents rented this movie on vhs. I have not seen the movie since then). I also added Alice in Wonderland [TV 1985] Dvd for $7.99 (this is another movie that I have not seen in years. I saw it on tv when I was a kid.).
