Question about Ebay.

Ok, simple question.

I made a purchase on Ebay and received the item. Left feedback for the seller that was positive as the experience was great. now they are not leaving any feedback for me.

I want to build up my feedback as this is a newer Ebay user name. The last one I had was a few years ago so I'm starting over.

What would you do? I sent the seller a message asking if they would leave feedback but they are not responding.

some people do not leave feedback.. sucks but nothing you can do but email them....

If they use the auto feedback system it could take a few weeks for it to get around too you

That's really all you can do. I used to sell memory cards containing gran turismo 3 save data on ebay and about 20% of the time they didn't bother leaving feedback.

I stopped leaving feedback for buyers after the new rule was inacted. Why? Why should I be forced to leave a positive for someone who tries and scams me? So if thats the overall rules they want I care not to participate. Lobby ebay to make it like it used to be and people stop leaving a negative for a blu-ray not playing in a DVD player or because they felt like it, you will see more sellers leave feedback.

Do you know why ebay did that? it is real dumb.

why did u start a new account?? if your score was good, you could've just changed your seller id.

i'd imagine it was to protect the buyers b/c w/o them, ebay would be no more.

true, but look at ebay now, stock went from 43+ a year ago to 12-15.00 range......Sellers left ebay, when that happens prices increase, yea but buyers also leave as a result because its cheaper elsewhere. Its a viscious cycle but the feedback system kept the buyers more honest than they are now. I gave up........If you wanna neg me so be it, I stopped worrying about it but of course 99.9% of my buyers have been great and I do my part very well. I have a few messups but they never leave bad feedback
