Mummy three

Ok I picked this up the other day as Costco. The disc loads and I can wander about in the start section. But if I hit play it starts off and then goes over the FBI and other warnings and shuts the player off. Now this is the first time I have ever had this happen. Any Ideas is it just the Disc? Did I get a bad disc?

Your the first person i've heard complain about it, so the chances are it's a bad disc. If I were you I would return it and try another disc. Costco has a pretty good return policy so you should have no problems. And if it doesn't work on your second copy, go from there. Oh and how many times have you tried it? Something like that happened to me with The Dark Knight and I just restarted it and haven't had any problems since.

Yeah, Costco is usually very reasonable about returns - of course that assumes that we are able to dig through the snow drifts to get back there within the next month or so.
Did try restarting - especially since it keeps turning off the whole player! Also tried to get it to go chapter by chapter rather than just play.

Yeah, well try returning it and then try it again. Have you seen the third mummy before or was it a blind buy? Because if you haven't I would suggest that you trade it in and get a different movie and rent the third mummy. Because it really isn't that good of a movie. And thanks for the compliment on the signature.

Dont listen to this guy.... return it and try again (assuming you have the latest formware update for your player)
If you liked Mummy 1 and Mummy 2 then you like Mummy 3 (much better than Mummy 2)

I liked The Mummy but the third Mummy was trash. It' most likely a defected disc. It could also be firmware problem, but I would try return it firsy. And what do you mean don't listen to this guy? What I said was dead on. First you check whether it was the disc and then you go from their. You're the one he shouldn't listen to.
