The Mist (Canadian version)? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm wondering if the Canadian version of "The Mist" will it have French Canadian writing on the back cover and/or the disc itself? I like the front cover art better but I'll pass if it does.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Unless it's a Disney release, it's going to have that awful bilingualism.

I have it and yes it does. Although the front cover does have the french title (Brume), it is in a tiny font compared to the English title. But, of course, the back cover and spine is littered with the french language. blah

BTW: Does anyone know if Warner does this for Canadian releases? I've never heard of it being a issue with WB titles but it is worth asking if anyone knows.

They do, but not for every release. Sometimes if the title is the same in French as in English, they have a little square in the corner saying "Version Française incluse" (like 300), and I believe the back is in bilingual. I think GoodFellas is an example of a box that's English only.

Disney does it too. Amazon also sells the US versions on their Canadian site, so maybe that's why you were mistaken.
