I traded 2 movies for a Blu-Ray movie which were The Hitcher and The Thing on HD DVD for Vacancy on Blu-Ray which i never received. I sent my two movies on november 18th . He says, he never received his. When i call my local postal office, they tell me that the package was sent. I also never received my movie from him which he says he sent.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this one. It was my first time trading stuff over the net and last one. I will never take the risk of trading an item for another. I put my thrust in the guy. I gave him my adress and he gave me mine.

What are your thoughts ? What can i do ?

get tracking #'s for your package and make sure the guy your trading w/get's one as well.

this way u can confirm if the package was ever recv'd or not.

Well both him and i didn't receive our packages. It's been almost a month. Could the packages be at the Customs for inspection ?

don't know about customs but if u had a tracking #, u could take it to UPS, USPS or whoever the package was shipped with and they could tell u where it is or what it's status is.

I sent it via Canada Postal. The basic delivery. The minimum. I don't have a tracking number.

good luck dude. if you don't have a tracking # and don't receive it, the chances of it being tracked down are gonna be pretty slim from my past experience.

I've had things going to and coming from Canada that have taken a month or longer so give it a bit more time. They may yet arrive. Especially with X-mas now it is taking even longer...

I had a package take 6 damn weeks to get to a Canadian buyer.
