Default Got a new TV! Now what?
Hey guys! Just picked up a Samsung 46" LCD. Haven't hooked it up yet, but that's because i need your help.

I know you all like to do crazy calibrating and leaving it on for 9001 hours straight on some flashy light thing as well as do medical research on the TV before even watching anything on it - im just curious what that is.

I will do a calibration thing using Ratatouille once i plug'er in, but what else should i do?

Despite temptations, i'm not turning it on yet. Its been in a cold Canadian warehouse for a long time now, and i don't think turning it on just yet is the greatest idea ever.

So yeah, Any tips on what i should do before playing with it?
