Default Libb's Lair- My Home Theatre Setup

Here are some pics of my home theatre set-up:

Overview:

TV: Sony Grand Wega 50" RP LCD 1080i. The TV is going to be upgraded this summer to a 60-65" LCD 1080p (depending on the size of my wallet, lol). Its between a Sony Bravia or Sharpe Aquoas.

All my money has been spent upgrading my sound system. I now have it complete. It will last me for a long time, as I have no future plans to upgrade (I will need 2 more surrounds, but I have no room for them right now).

Front Towers: Paradigm Monitor 7

Center: Paradigm Monitor CC-190

Surrounds: Paradigm Atom Monitor x2

Sub-Woofer: Paradigm PDR-10

Amplifier: Denon AVR-1908. I also dont believe there will be a need to upgrade it any time soon.

Blu-ray Palyer: Sony Playstation 3, 80Gb

Cable Box: Motorola DCT 6412 HP PVR (Tivo) Cable Box.

Bluray Collection: 58 Titles and Counting!

Once I am able to move out of my parents basement (2 more years...fingers crossed ) I will be able to have a much more attractive looking set-up. Right now I'm kinda cramped for space. I wish my dad would get rid of the pool table in the corner. It would be much better and I would be able to have a couch so more people could come down and watch movies!

Enjoy!

I fear for the life of your very nice center channel. Perhaps one solid shelf that's a little more... level would be a good idea?

Sony display,... Denon AVR,... Paradigm speakers.... PS3: All my type of thing.

I just "dusted" my PS3 and it still looks a bit like that. I have to take it out of the rack I guess and do a real cleanup. It will appreciate it.

yeah I've been meaning to look at that. Just never got around to it. It's actually sturdy enough to hold the weight of the speaker. But I will get around to making a better home for my speaker.

I think it's a great set up! Especially at your age? I know a lot of older people that would love to have that set up!! As for your center channel...can you mount it on the same brackets behind the tv? It would still sound good and be out of sight? In that little room the sound doesn't have to travel far so you won't loose anything. Just a suggestion.

lol..I'm 23 and living at home. Why not buy all my goodies now and have them when I move out I've been assembling this over the last 3 years.

and which brackets are you referring to? My TV is a RP so its sitting on a stand. plus, the speaker is easily 15lbs. so it would need a shelf.
