Hordes of people will go out to see this movie. It will make double the money it was budgeted for so more these crap movies are put out. Yet it is impossible to see a movie like The Wrestler which is supposed to be fantastic and gripping, but we get stuck with this garbage.

Oh, my, god, does the world need yet another repetitive spoof movie? And to think, that this whole spoof thing was started by K.I. Waynes. when he directed the original Scary Movie. And just like you, I'm pretty sure that The Wrestler will just be overlooked because of the fact that its based on a "fake" sport and people will bash it for that reason while praising the spoof. Just be glad though that Fredberg and Selzer ain't involved in this one.

Well, we're trying to promote other people not to see their movies. Its just annoying that people can be bought into that stuff.

I like the Wayans Bros. a lot because they make good satires but this time I just couldn't watch the whole trailer of this movie.

Sorry Wayans Bros. you're not getting my money this time.

I loved the old Wayan's Scary Movies, but this one doesn't look so hot.

Actually, you may notice that's one of the reasons this one is legally a "Flick" and not a "Movie", as the Wayans no longer own the right to make specifically black-targeted parody "Movies".

The Wayans actually started the whole franchise back with the urban-comedy "Don't Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" (and "Scary Movie 1" was originally supposed to be the laughing-at-white-people's-hits "Scream If You Know What I Did Last Halloween")--
Until the whole split with the Weinsteins at Dimension broke up ownership, and Adam Jay Epstein got the non-Scary franchise going with "Not Another Teen Movie"...Until SeltzFried usurped Epstein's throne with "Date Movie", and you know the rest. It's a long sad story.

(FTR, Epstein has been trying to get some love back for HIS old contribution to the Movie Saga lately, as he tried to get a "Dawson's Creek"-style "Not Another Teen Series" spinoff going for TV, and had to retitle one of his sketch comedies "Extreme Movie", just to try and remind us Who Did It First, before the stinky-guys end up running away with all the blame.)

The Wayans have given us In Living Color(sketch comedy tv show) that gave big breaks for Tommy Davidson, Kim Wayans, Jamie Fox, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey & all the male Wayans brothers. Keenen Ivory Wayan delivered a great spoof comedy called Scary Movie 1 & 2.

I don't know about stopping Wayans but slowing down is a start. I still have good will for them.
