Default The Mummy 3 Meh Movie/Awesome PQ/AQ!

I went to BB today and picked up this and it came with a picture Lithograph. The movie was pretty meh and stupid but the PQ/AQ are off the hook. Check it out if you get this with your first blu-ray for christmas show off chapter 9 the big chase scene.and for the PQ scene watch chapter 11 as they fly over the Himalayas.so meh movie/Great PQ/AQ.

The only reason I remotely want to see it is because Jet Li is in it, but then again part of me does not want to lose respect for him for doing this movie.

So you're saying it should have been named "The Meh-my"?

Too bad this movie was terrible. Stephen Sommers presence as a director was sorely missed. And the script was terrible.

This sounds more like a BD I'd rather receive as a gift than something I'd spend my own money on.

After watching the movie War, the respect I had for him slapped me across the face and walked out the door.

I agree, this movie had excellent PQ & AQ. I was in the holiday spirit (those Buds were for me), but even through the haze, I found it enjoyable. It's a far cry from the first two releases, but I had low expectations, and found myself pleasantly surprised. Whether I'll watch it several times is debatable, but for sure will say that it's reference material for the "meh" factor.

Too bad the movie looks awful, I would buy it if it was any good because apparently the PQ is really good. Oh well, not going to waste my money on that piece of crap. And I actually like Jet Li...

I agree. After all the negative posts on this site, my expectations were tremendously lower. I thought it was good for a rental or a blind blu-ray purchase of $15 or less. Anything higher and it would have affected my enjoyment of the film.

They made a tragic mistake not bringing Rachel Weisz back. Or they didn't find an adequate presence to replace her. Besides being a pretty face, Weisz brought a unique aspect to the mummy franchise. It's like not having Brendan Fraser in a mummy movie. Weisz fit will with Fraser.

I think they will make another Mummy film, but this time they should bring the whole team back. No Weisz, no more mummy films.

It wasn't THAT bad, it just should not of been part of The Mummy franchise.

i didn't think it was as bad as people are making it out to be. the one thing i did NOT like was the scene w/the Yeti making the touchdown signal. crap like that in a movie is just stupid. other than that, i enjoyed it.

Loved it, I tought it was actualy more fun then the second one.

So what Rachel Weisz was not back? She is way over rated in the hotness level anyway and she was annoying at time in her character, I find Maria Bello was actualy more likeable.

The story was no more stupid then the first 2, Brendan Fraser had the same cheezy one liners he always as in his movies.

Only thing that was a bit weird was how the kid look a bit too old to be a 20 something and his parents look a little too young but I can over look that.

Finaly there was Jet Li and more important Michelle Yeoh any movie with her in it is a hit for me.
