ED a3-300. - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys I ordered an Elemental designs a3-300 with the upgraded driver to replace my 6 year old velodyne cht-12. I was just wondering what difference in sound i can expect?

I'm not really sure what kind of responses you are looking for... I doubt many people have owned both of those subs... That said the eD is an awesome sub. I'm sure you will be happy.

im thinking of getting this exact sub myself to replace my klipsch RW10d. I want more bass period. my room is somewhere around 31x15

You can get an SVS for that price as well and possibly not wait 5 weeks for it

not totally true. The cheapest SVS 12 sub that compares to the eD A3 300 would be $600, plus another $100 shipping.

My SVS is one of the largest they make and it was only $55 to ship

Well maybe they are over estimating so that nobody gets all alarmed if its a few dollars over $50 but I'm speaking from first hand experience here

I don't think the upgrade to it would be worth the extra money as it is the same enclosure and driver (as far as I know) with just an upgraded amp.

I'd put a little more money in for dual A2-300's instead.

That was the exact question I was going to ask. Do you think it would be better to purchase two A2 300s or one A3 300? about $700 compared to $ 515. Vanns has the RT10d cherry on sale for $800. Three 10s!
