Default BD - Live

Anyone really 'using or enjoying' BD-Live? I have tried it a few times and so far not really holding my interest...

It's a gimmicky waste of time.

I'm also wondering about the studios tracking the usage of BD-Live against the user's IP address.

I watched the Dark Knight with Christopher Nolan Thursday night. It was pretty cool. There is definately some cool things they could do with it. People need to show some interest though, or the studios won't do anything with it

I love it. I just wish they would offer more content as downloadable instead of streaming. I'm getting tired of streaming video that keeps pausing.

And the community screening, as well as the 'create a video commentary of your own' feature, are both starting to show some real promise for the creative application possibilities of BD-Live for the future.

So you guys are watching the movie first then re-watching with the commetary on... Don't get me wrong it makes sense when you buy a BD and watch it... then a month or two later you watch it again with features turned on, but when you rent, it is tough to find the time to watch it again inside of a week. In my opinion...

any bd's with a really cool example of live that you could sugest?

So far only used it on The Mummy 3, and wanted...

I did the live chat with Christopher Nolan last week, which I was very excited about. I thought it was very underwhelming. All of the other BD-Live features I've checked out have been pretty lame as well.

I have tried the BD Live features on Transformers for the pop-up information, GPS and damage meter and the Quiz on Iron Man, but all in all none of the BD Live stuff interest me. That is one feature that Blu-ray can do away with. Along with the PIP commentary.

I now like BD Live a lot. We need more interactive features that allows you to chat with other user while watching the movie. First, time I watch without interuption, but chatting with others can be for in a second viewing or third viewing.

Too many "coming soon" (Disney) when you click on a option or just plain nothing there to click on.

Trailers I can see without BD-Live.

They all need to step it up so word of mouth spreads it or it will fade away.
