Default I Need Some Help Picking A TV

I have a Samsung 46" LCD as my main TV but have convinced the wife to upgrade and move the 46" upstairs. I'm stuck between Panasonic TH50PZ80, TH42PZ80, Samsung PN50A550, PN50A650 or a newer Samsung 46" LCD (maybe LED LNT4681). The main TV downstairs will be used for movies (Blu of course) and HD TV. Unfortunately I have never seen blu ray on a Plasma but I know it looks great on my LCD.

Thanks

My Samsung is my first HDTV and I absolutely love it, but I'm in the same boat as you, I already have my eyes on my next upgrade Whenever I can afford it, I'm upgrading from my 46" to a Samsung LN52A650. My top choice would be the new big dawg, the 55" 950 but I doubt I'll be able to afford that any time soon. And since I, as well as soo many others I've talked to, are so pleased with the 650 series and higher, I'm sticking with it. Here's the best price I've seen the Samsung LN52A650 for. It actually just went up a bit, but last week it was around $1870

Well, I have the Panasonic TH50PZ80 and I have loved every minute of it so far. It hasn't given me any problems and a great picture from day one. I just used dve to calibrate it and it has been smooth sailing with high def. I love this tv and I can't imagine having any other.

TH-50PZ80U FTW!!! I have this set and it rocks The plus side on this set is that you can usually find pretty good deals online, I ended up paying less than 1200 for mine. The woman is finally admitting the upgrade was worth it.

It really depends on the set up of your downstairs. If you have a lot of sunlight I would recommend the Sammy, but if your downstairs is dark I would recommend the Panny. I just love the natural colors of the plasmas.
