Default Help buying a new TV? Anyone? :D

Hey again guys...
Alright, so! I got more money for Christmas than i thought i would. In fact, i got $1100.00 for Christmas. So heres where I decide to spend it all... I was gonna buy a bunch of crap, but i decided to get a new TV since mine is a zoomed in, giant 1080i piece of garbage that you cant even read text off of.

So... What do you guys recommend? Ive got 1100 bucks to spend here. I would like an LCD TV around 50 inches... a little less is fine if its cheaper, i don't really care all that much. Needs to be 1080p. 60hz is fine since i'm not expecting 120hz for that price, but hey... maybe you guys can figure something out.

So yeah! Any recommendations? I also wouldn't mind having a little bit of extra cash for a subwoofer as well, but that doesn't really matter all that much. ...I can get that later. Oh yeah, by the way- Tax doesn't really matter, If the TV is 1099.99, thats fine.

a decent 50" LCD for $1,1000? ...tough to find.

Sharp LC-52D65U 52" 1080p LCD HDTV

coupon code: AFLTV25

...25% off with free shipping, but still a bit more than your budget.

I've heard that Plasma's don't last as long... No?

By the way. The TVs so far have been good, but a little too much. :/ You can go smaller, i don't care. And yeah, Canada.

By what I read they last just as long as LCD, but you have the worry of burn in...

it would take 10-15 years of watching TV everyday for 6 hours a day before you begin to notice any quality issues. (or so the theory goes )
